Rotating equipment constitutes an important part of the equipment required in industries, which have always been the focus of attention of activists and experts in the oil and gas field due to their high level of design knowledge and manufacturing technology. Rotating equipment design is undoubtedly one of the most complex knowledge-based engineering activities.
The rotating equipment design department of DEMKO Group, which consists of three specialized teams: mechanical design, hydraulic design, and structural design, is capable of designing zero to one hundred types of general and special rotating equipment with advanced technologies, utilizing knowledge from various engineering disciplines, specialized analytical software, numerous successful practical experiences of twenty years, and using analysis of designs and advanced technologies in the world.

• Mechanical design of all fixed and rotating parts of the equipment based on standard requirements, technical and engineering calculations, and taking into account manufacturing engineering, up to the preparation of the initial 3D model of the equipment.
• Determining all details of the equipment, from simpler information such as the size and location of the screws to the thickness of various parts at sensitive points and important tolerances, especially the geometry of the rotor as the heart of the rotating equipment.
• Using advanced finite element software for stress-strain and vibration analysis of all fixed and rotating parts of the equipment and the structure where the equipment is located.
• Stress-strain analysis considering static loads, dynamic loads and fatigue conditions.
• The important and complex part of the comprehensive rotor dynamic analysis, speeds and vibration analysis of the equipment using the most advanced engineering codes and software
• Determining the exact dimensions of the rotor components, type and location of the bearings based on the rotor dynamic analysis

In the mechanical design section, the main focus is on ensuring the mechanical tolerance of the components and the permissible vibration range of the equipment. The most important measures that DEMKO Group experts take in this section include the following:
• Hydraulic design using computational fluid dynamics knowledge, successful practical experiences and based on the process and hydraulic requirements of the project
• Preliminary model design in CF-Turbo software
• Accurate analysis of the fluid flow and pressure at all points of the hydraulic design using CFX finite element software
• Verification of meeting the process and hydraulic requirements of the project
• If necessary, repeat the hydraulic design process by making amendments to the initial design to achieve the design requirements

Hydraulic design plays a key role in meeting the basic requirements of the project and preventing the occurrence of destructive fluid phenomena in rotating equipment. The following are the most important actions of the DEMKO design team in this area:
• Equipment design from 3D model to dimensional and geometric tolerances and finally preparation of construction drawings
• The need to design equipment based on manufacturing and production facilities, ease of assembly and especially determining dimensional and geometric tolerances according to practical experiences and GD&T standards
• Continuous information flow between the three sections of mechanical design, hydraulic design and structural design until reaching the final optimized model

Manufacturing design is the bridge between engineering calculations and equipment manufacturing and has a direct impact on the quality of equipment manufacturing. Among the actions taken by the DEMKO Group's design and engineering team at this stage are the following:
• Meeting the functional requirements of equipment for other projects by modifying part of the design of existing equipment
• Modifying the design to facilitate construction and reduce production costs
• Reducing the volume of analysis and calculations of design teams, reducing costs and saving time in project execution

Detailed design is carried out with the aim of modifying, optimizing and adapting existing equipment to the requirements of the new project, in order to:
